2 years

Yesterday marked our 2 year anniversary coming back from JA.  At this point we have been back longer then we were there.  Lots of changes, not a lot of LJ-ing.  I’ve recapped my time in PC so many times it is pointless to do it again.  I just wanted to remind people out there of the anniversary.  Somehow it seemed special and meaningful.  A time to do what I have done far too much of reminisce about my experience.  Look back with rose colored glasses like Jamaica was some sort of paradise. 

In actuality I spent the Saturday with family.  We went shopping, looked for patio furniture at Ikea and bought some food from Costco for our cookout today.  We avoided our house in the afternoon because the AC is on the fritz.  Time was better spent this way then skimming old LJ entries or looking over old JA photos. 

Anyways I’m off to a hot muggy bed cooled by a fan.  It is just one more reminder of my almost two years in JA, where many a hot muggy night was spent underneath my fan.
